We then flew to Punta Arenas to catch our boat to Carlos Island where we spent 4 days. The Whale Sound crew and the scientist were extremely knowledgeable and willing to share at all times. We then started our journey to Torres de Paine were we climbed to the peaks which had been highly recommended by everyone we met. We were then off to the lake district. Puerto Varas, Chiloe and Petrohue were all places we could have spent more time exploring.
