Private transfer to Santiago airport for nonstop flight to Punta Arenas in southern Patagonia. Flight: Santiago to Punta Arenas On arrival, you are met for a shared/scheduled transfer (without guide) to your hotel in Puerto Natales (approx. 2.5-3 hours away). CALAMA
Walk across the street to the airport terminal and check-in for your nonstop flight to Calama, often referred to as the gateway to the Atacama Desert. Flight: Santiago to Calama Upon arrival to Calama airport, airport reception and shared/regular transfer to your hotel in the Atacama. Begin your 4D/3N Atacama Desert program with full board, open bar, daily shared guided excursions (1 full day or 2 half day outings per day), use of the SPA with Jacuzzi, sauna, pool, and sun deck; use of bicycles, and travel between the hotel and nearby villages during the day.

Enjoy two full days of shared guided explorations in the Atacama Desert, based out of your hotel. Excursions on foot, bike or vehicle will introduce you to the beauty and magnitude of Atacama – witness the majesty of the Andes, see high mountain lakes and check out the Tatio geysers, the highest and third largest geothermal field in the world. Walk through the eerie Moon Valley, see the Atacama Salt Lake, archaeological sites, dried up creek beds and quaint adobe villages.

This morning, you are picked up for your half-day private guided tour of Quito, including a walking tour of its historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, the afternoon is at your leisure to spend relaxing or exploring the city further on your own.
