Every element of this decadent yacht has been specially designed for comfort, safety and sustainability. From spacious staterooms with panoramic windows to world-class cuisine and services, the Origin offers an unforgettable cruising experience matched only by the incomparable nature of the islands visited. The 10 staterooms are roomy and inviting, with large windows, private bathrooms and plenty of storage space. An elegant dining room features marble table tops with configurations of 2 to 10 guests for private or group dining. The spacious sundeck is equipped with day beds, chaises lounges, tables, hammocks, a four-person Jacuzzi, an outdoor shower and a wet bar. An intimate indoor bar is always open for hand-crafted cocktails and other beverages. Interior social areas include a comfortable lounge for evening gatherings and general relaxation, and a cozy library stocked with books on the Galapagos and Charles Darwin. The M/V Origin is also equipped with a top-notch fitness center and a boutique offering an array of exquisite local handicrafts.
LOW RATIO OF GUESTS PER GUIDE
The experienced 14-member Ecuadorian crew includes two expert naturalist guides, or one for every 10 guests, which is the lowest ratio in the Galapagos. Naturalists are all bilingual in Spanish and English, with other languages available upon request. The use of kayaks, stand up paddle boards, wetsuits, and snorkel equipment are all included in your cruise and allow you to get up close and personal with wildlife under the guidance of well informed naturalists.

The MV Origin reflects Ecoventura’s continuous quest for improvement and is one of the most eco-friendly cruise vessels operating in the Galapagos today. Sustainable cruising and superior luxury in one of the planet’s most magical places defines the experience of the M/V Origin, a vessel designed to minimize environmental impact while raising the bar in terms of adventure and luxury.
